Hi guys! So I know about a year ago, we posted that we were looking for second shooters for weddings as well as an assistant that would be willing to come help out on bigger events. And while we found some amazing new help, we're looking again to expand our list.
We are looking for 2nd shooters with experience of photographing weddings and large events. You must have your own gear for this spot. We are also looking for someone that would be willing to be an assistant the day of big weddings and events. This would be a great job for someone in high school or college that has an interest in photography and wants to see the back side of a high end wedding photography business.
Full disclosure- these are high paced, intense positions that require you to be on your feet carrying gear for 8-10 plus hours a day. You will need to be able to work with all kinds of people in a high stress environment and be able to handle instructions without having someone looking over your shoulder. Knowledge of photography and photography gear is very helpful since I frequently will need someone that I can call out lenses or equipment needed without a ton of time taken away from the shoot to explain what I need.
The biggest requirement though is willing to come hang out and work with a smile on your face. We are responsible for helping to create a perfect wedding experience for our clients and I take this responsibility VERY seriously. If you can't have fun and laugh at the craziness then this isn't the job for you.
This is going to be an as needed position since we don't require help at every wedding. However, in the next few months there are several opportunities as busy season starts to really hit us full swing.
