I can’t believe it’s almost Monday again! I swear the weekends go so fast. This weekend I had the chance to photograph my brother and sister in-law (and their adorable pug) as well as my own family at an orchard near our place in Michigan. I have wanted to do family photos at an orchard for several years but it hasn’t happened. This year we made it happen, and I can honestly say that I will be ordering several canvases tomorrow! So, you might wonder how I manage to get my own family’s photos. Well, I recruited my brother in law to snap them. I would set the shot up, run into place then run back after he took a few shots to check and make adjustments and do it all over again! Add in the fact that I had us all dressed for fall photos when yesterday was a record high day in the lower 90’s and needless to say, we only shot for about 15 minutes before we were all ready to be done!
Oh, and I want to send a big thank you to Jollay Orchards who not only let us come out and shoot after hours but allowed Ajax the pug to come as well. Most orchards are very strict on photography and pets so it was wonderful that our local orchard was so accommodating! You can bet our family will be back many times!
