Happy Wednesday, you guys! This week has been insane (in a great way!) However, that means that I haven't had a chance to sit down and write a super huge #weddingtipwednesday post for you. Does that mean we're skipping it? Heck no! I'm pretty sure we could fill every Wednesday with random tips and tricks that we've learned in the last 7 years. So today, that's what we are doing! Here are 5 things to remember on your wedding day.
1. Make sure there is natural light in the room where the bride will be getting ready (window light). This makes a WORLD of difference in your images! I promise! (Full blog post on this one coming soon because it's a big one!)
2. If possible, try to have all bridal details together before the photographer arrives. (Dress, jewelry, shoes, bouquet, garter, extra invite, Groom details, perfume, veil, etc) This will make the detail shots more efficient! 3. Keep the area near the window free of trash, bags, snacks, etc. This will be where the bride will be putting on her dress! (We don’t need any Aquafina bottles in our bridal portraits:). 4. Allow more time than you think you need to get ready! It’s better to be safe than RUSHED! 5. Relax and have fun! You’re getting MARRIED!! I tell this to my couples multiple times on a wedding day. The minute I see stress creeping in about anything I remind them of why they are actually here. No matter what happens on your wedding day- as long as you end up married then it was a success. All the other stupid hiccups- we've got you covered!
