Let's Get This Party Started!

We've made it to Wednesday, so what better way to celebrate than with some of my favorite images from Morgan & Ryan's amazing wedding reception?!

Their reception was held in a giant tent at his parents' property and was one of the most stunning tent weddings I have ever seen. The details were superb with everything from the floral centerpieces to the giant wedding cakes and the candy bar and wine slushies- needless to say, it was an event unlike any other!

The dance floor was hopping from the minute the DJ said go and was still going strong when we left at 10:00 that evening. The 2 best men gave hilarious toasts and tried to embarrass their brother but the Matron of Honor topped them both! You don't even need to know what she is talking about- just look at the images and I promise, you'll get the point!

There were also some more tear-filled moments when Morgan's father who recently passed away was remembered and missed. I won't lie- I was crying along with everyone else. I just hid it behind my camera.

I cannot express how much it meant to me that Ryan and Morgan asked me to capture one of the biggest days of their lives. Their families and wedding party took Shelby in and treated us like friends the entire day. When we left the reception that evening we were beat after shooting for over 12 hours but we both agreed that it had been an absolute blast. And let's be honest- how many people can say they spent 12 hours on their feet carrying over 20 pounds of gear and loved every minute of it?! My guess is very few, so I'll consider us one of the lucky ones!

I am also grateful that Morgan and Ryan built time into their reception timeline with their DJ to leave and go do sunset shots. When my clients trust me enough to take time away from their party to capture images it truly means humbles me.

Thank you, thank you for asking Shelby and I to be a part of your wedding day.

Oh, and your images are done and the link is in your email! Enjoy!
