This was such a fun session! First of all, it was actually Jesse that contacted me to schedule this as a surprise for his and Kelly's 3rd anniversary. Husbands, take note! This earns you MAJOR bonus points!!!
We met last week to shoot and today not only are we featuring a few of our favorites, we're wishing them a happy anniversary since today is the date! Oh, and random fact! Kelly & Jesse were married at the same place that my husband and I had our wedding reception over 13 years ago! It's located in the southern Chicago suburbs so needless to say, that does not happen- ever!
I was lucky enough to be able to photograph Kelly & Jesse's engagement session 4 years ago and at the end of that session, Kelly just happens to casually mention that she and Jesse were pros at the Dirty Dancin' dance move at the end of the movie. You know the one- Baby goes flying into Johnny's arms and he holds her up in the air. Well, I made them do it at their engagement session! Flash forward 4 years and I ask if they can still do it?
