It's finally time! We are opening up our applications to be on our Rep Team for the 2024-25 school year! But first, let's talk details.
So, what is a rep? Basically, you are the face of 1492 for the year. We do multiple styled shoots, you get to meet new friends through the team that you may not have otherwise had a chance to meet, and you get to earn free stuff! Who wouldn't love that?!
Since I started sharing about the upcoming application release, I've received several questions so I wanted to answer them real quick.
"How much time does this take? My child is super busy with sports." It truly doesn't take any time at all. None of the shoots are mandatory and you can do as many or as few as you have time for. "Is it only for Columbus North or Columbus East students?" Nope! We would LOVE to have Reps in all of the area schools. Basically, if you are up for coming into Columbus for the styled shoots then we'd love to have you!
"Are the Rep Teams only for girls?" Not at all! This year we have 2 amazing guys on the team, Renden and Drew. A few years ago we had only guys on the team! That was the year we did the styled shoot from the movie "The Sandlot" which is still, to this day, my absolute favorite session ever! If you want to see it, CLICK HERE) I would LOVE to have enough guys again this upcoming year to do another epic shoot like that but I can't tell you the movie just yet. I have to keep a few secrets!
"Is it just for seniors?" This year we are actually going to have a few spots for Juniors as well. That means that if you are a current Sophomore you can apply to the Junior Rep Team as well!
So, how do you apply? Simple! Hit Contact Me and scroll to the bottom of the home page and send us the following information: Your name, your school, your email address (this is the most important part!!) and if you are going to be a Junior or Senior and we will email you the application with all of the details. You can also email me directly at nowelle@studio1492photography.com Please note that last year we had over 45 requests come through in less than 15 minutes so it may take 24 hours or so before you hear back from us. The application email will have all of the details on how to apply and what the next steps are as well as a more in-depth description on the Rep Team Program.
I can't wait to see who all applies and I look forward to working with all of the new member of the 1492 Rep Team!
