Autumn is my absolute favorite season! The colors and cooler temps! The pumpkin flavored everything and Halloween! But most of all- those deep autumn sunsets! In my opinion, sunsets in the fall tend to be the most colorful with deep tones and more vibrant reds and oranges and make for the most STUNNING sunset images! Don't believe me- just look at this session and every other session we've photographed at sunset in the last few weeks. There is just a depth that you don't get in any other season. Fall just has a way of showing off!
Megan & Elijah started their session at the Seymour Fire Station where Elijah is a firefighter. We shot with our biggest props to date (or three of them, actually!) I love those bright pops of red and yellow and how unique these images are to just the two of them! Even though all of our weddings include an engagement session, we strive not to get in a rut and start shooting 'cookie cutter' sessions. We spend the time planning custom sessions with each of our couples that best reflect them and their style.
We finished at a private farm for those insane sunset images and I honestly cannot decide which I love more- the firetruck or the farm! Thankfully I'm not the one who has to decide which ones to print! Haha! Good luck Megan & Elijah! Here are just a few of our favorites- enjoy!
