There have been many moments thus far in my career when I take a step back and look around and go "Woah- how did I get here?" Editing Meghan & Brandon's wedding was one of those moments. I cannot express how much it means to me when couples sign a contract with me and say they want me to capture the biggest day of their lives together. Honestly, a little part of me still cannot believe that I do what I do for a living. Photography and wedding photography in particular was never in my game plan when I looked at my future when I headed off to college. I couldn't be happier for plans that didn't happen the way I thought they should and for all of those turns in the path that I was sure I was screwing up when in fact I was always headed exactly where I was always suppose to be.
Meghan & Brandon, you wedding was amazing. I don't need to tell you or anyone else that- it's so obviously in the images below. Half way through your wedding day, I looked at Shelby (my assistant) and told her that I wish I could tell girls everywhere to never settle for a guy that doesn't look at you the way Brandon looks at Meghan. Never settle for less.
