First of all, can we all just agree that the weather this week has been beyond amazing?! Especially after those few 111+ days the week before. Anyhow! The point of all of that is that the weather for Alex and Abby's session was AMAZING!
When Abby and I started planning her session she mentioned that their first date was at a local waterfall for a hike so I knew we had to include that location in the plans. From there the rest of the planning was basically matching locations to outfits and a little bit of luck in finding a private sunflower farm just days before the session. Basically, everything just sort of fell into place perfectly. Add in the funny little fact that they were willing to go along with one of my crazy ideas, park on the side of a country road and shoot in a ditch all because I knew the white flowers (okay, I know they are weeds, but we're sticking with flowers) would look amazing in photos. They said yes and the result- well, you can be the judge but I for one am in love with those images.
After almost non-stop rain all day until 10 minutes before we started shooting and massive heat advisories just days before I have to say that Alex and Abby truly lucked out.
Thank you both for trusting me and my crazy ideas. I cannot wait for you upcoming wedding!

Lastly, 2020 brides, now is the time to get on our calendar! We are booking weddings like crazy and will be limiting how many we take due to several travel sessions and destination weddings. (Yay!!!) Anyone want us to travel to you? Have a beach? If so, we're there! Haha!
